What event do you think impacted the world the most?

I think there have been many such events throughout history that have impacted the world we live in today.  One is likely to think of the wars that occurred that allowed us to become the United States. The colonists were doomed to failure , but because of the war that England was also having with France, Americans formed their own country. Looking around today at the SJW and their crazy ideas makes me wonder about sanity. Our fore fathers struggled mightily to form this free democratic republic. We are the most powerful country in the world today. Without the wisdom and leadership of those early colonists, I do not think our country would have survived for long. The wording of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution have endured even through many wars and conflicts.  The founding fathers were brave and courageous and we should still esteem them no matter their personal failings. You cannot erase history.
