Carole's FB post after funeral for Daddy

 Today we said goodbye to Daddy. I am sad and I will always miss him. But he is not in pain, he can walk, and talk and enjoy eternity with God. He was such a good man.A man of integrity and faithful. Please love your parents and children. Thank you for all the prayers.

Today was a hard day as we laid my sweet Daddy to rest. Thank you to everyone who has messaged, called, brought food and other items we appreciate it so very much. As Daddy always said “to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. “ We know he is in a better place and even though we are sad we are glad that he’s not in pain anymore. Thank you to Riemann’s Funeral Home for making this so much easier. Thank you to all his doctors, EMT’s, and nurses for his wonderful care. Please continue to keep our family in your prayers as we continue to heal.
