I remember when JFK was killed. I was 5 1/2 and my mother cried. The TV was on all the time. I was shocked when Bobby Kennedy was shot. I could not at 10 years old understand how two brothers could both die like that. I cried when Princess Diana died. I was of an age with her. We both got married in 1981 and I got up real early to watch the wedding on TV. I was so sad for her children to lose her at such a young age. I remember being saddened when JFK Jr. passed away. It was inconceivable that he, with such promise, could be gone.
9/11 was devastating to me. When the buildings fell I was horrified. An act of war on our soil was unthinkable at the time.
The upheaval of the past 4 years while Pres. Trump was in office is ridiculous. The Left has gone crazy. Biden has cheated his way into office. I hope this does not lead to Civil War.
